I have a 97 F150 and I replaced my battery last week after it died without warning and ever since this the Oil and Amp gauges are acting funny in the morning the truck starts up and all gauges respond normally after about 5 mins of driving the Oil gague starts to clime to the top then it crashes to the bottom of the and starts all over again at the same time the amp gauge falls to the botom and stays there.
My expedition was doing that BEFORE I changed the battery. After I changed the battery, those problems went away. Is it a good battey? Check you connections!
