Which one do you hate more?
Please enlighten me on why you think Toyota is so terrible, besides the fact that it is foreign.
1.) Overall dimensions are not on par with what Americans consider to be a full sized truck- it's closer to a Dakota in size.
2.) No HD manual option- maybe even no manual option at all anymore.
3.) Payload capacities are too light for a work truck - American half tons can at least handle some decent weight.
4.) Frames are not comparable with those on domestic trucks.
5.) Rear differential is too small for serious work and towing- even if it was geared at 4.56 or so- the ring diameter would not be sufficient to provide enough sheer strength to handle loaded trailers all day long. Rangers and S10's have larger differentials.
6.) 27,000.00 MSRP for a 2wd base reg cab is ridiculous. I could buy the same configuration Ram 2500 with Cummins diesel below invoice for 1500.00 LESS, and have three times as much truck.
7.) Replacement parts are expensive - priced more like diesel parts than small gasoline motor parts.
8.) Worst cases of rust I've ever seen on any older trucks. Rust after time is not usually a big deal on a work truck- but even knock around trucks need their sheet metal components to maintain some sort of structural integrity.
Inspite of all this the Nissan got my vote for the one I hate most - it's so ugly that it even makes the Chev front end look sweet
It's so prima donna looking- that even the Toyota Tundra looks masculine sitting next to it.
GMC was not on the list I wonder why? It can't simply be lumped in with the Chevy, I mean even though structurally they are the same truck, cosmetically they are worlds apart on the front ends.
The GMC is one smooth looking rig- it's been described as classier and more mature than the Chevy, and smoother and more conservative than the Ford and Dodges are with those huge front grills. Seems to fit the description- I'd buy one, though I also like those big noses on the Ford's and Dodge's.
. Not a 4x4 though- that's for sure.
Nissan makes stuff that lasts forever, dont have a problem with it, if you like a small truck
Toyota, same thing as nissan
Dodge, dont have much opinion either way other than I dont like the front ends on the brand new ones, or the silly pasenger car tires they put on em
I'd choose the KNeesan.
Foreign has nothing to do with it. If it dosen't have a blue oval on the grill, I'm not interested. That's why I hang out on Ford themed websites, what's your excuse.
