Ford Spreadbore, 460, help!
Ok, my 460 has the spreadbore design (bigger secondaries) and I need to put a carb on it. I have a Holley 650 with same size throttle plates or I can use my friends Edelbrock Performer, I think the secondaries are bigger but dont remember, but it is new, 600 cfm maybe? How am i going to get one of these carbs on. I havent been able to find an adapter yet, everything seems to be quadra-jet bla bla bla... I need to get this motor runnin.

My local Schuck's has a wide open (no cutouts for butterflies) 4V adapter plate for $20. It will raise the carb about an inch. It's a standard item and any parts store should have it.
