Broken headlight switch
I have a 2003 F250 SD 4 door. I pullled out the headlight switch to turn on the fog lights and it came off in my hand!!!! Soooo, I go to the dealer and they say the part is back ordered because Ford cannot build one that will not break. It has been over a month now and no new switch in sight. Plus they say I need to get the entire switch assembly not just the ****!!!!
Any one heard of this before.

I just got back from the dealer and they replaced the switch.... finally. It had been there for 3 weeks and never called me. Seems that they close out ALL repair orders at the end of the month so that when they got the special order part in, they had nothing to match it to. It took longer for me to sit down then for them to replace the part. Now I will be able to see driving home at night again.....
