Headlight switch
My headlight switch is bad and the suppliers say it's obsolete. Any ideas???

All the Excursion headlight switches are the same...none of those posted will fit.

I went through the same thing, I found one in Canada through another member, here was my thread with the correct part number!

It does cross reference over to other numbers, but nobody had one anywhere in the US.

True, but not totally. '00-'01 Excursions had no auto headlight option, so the switch didn't have an auto position. I believe early '00s didn't have a full out for the fog lights since fog lights were late availability as well.

True in that the posted ones won't work though. Trucks and Excursions had different switches.

I'm referring to design/shape not actual functions. You are right about the functions.

Makes me wonder if the ones posted above could be disassembled and put into the one out of the X? Just a thought.
