Since I've been with this forum, this is probably one of the most frequent asked questions I've seen, so there's also a good deal of threads written on the subject. Run a search, then start asking your specific questions. There's plenty of guys with the knowledge here who are also very willing to help.
How about some donor parts combo's for the upgrade? Can't always afford the new upgrade kits! No other disks will work on the pre-65's ??? I'm lost with this???
I have wondered the same thing for some time, but can not find any disc kits for the F250.
I find that the 250 is not all that common for the 64, however I just overhauled my whole brake system with dual master, and pressure regulating valve for rear, also changed that goofy half front wheel cylinder to a regular dual, and although would still like to have disc in front, it stops decent for 40 year old brake tech.
Let me know if you come up with a disc conversion.

No, I just have manual brakes, but I keep my eye open for a booster at swap meets, for that is a possible upgrade I would like to do, though it does stop pretty good empty, but with a load I keep a good distance behind other vehicles to be safe.
i never have a load so maybe just the dual master will work great for me. i have also wondered if a single master with a booster would work very good. i have one that i removed from a 65 parts truck i had. what do you think
The single master with booster would work just as well, but I went to a dual just for the added safety in the event of a line rupture or wheel cylinder blow out.
