The rear axle code should be on the door sticker. It'll tell ya what axle ratio it is. Mine is a 19 (3.55). The rest of the codes are in the book or on here somewhere if you look around. You prolly have a 8.8 ford in the rear, not sure what the 250's used in the front. Dana 44 if I had to guess. It should be stamped on the axle whatever it is. Hope this helps....
wow, my axle tag reports a "73", that decoder says that to be a 5.13, and i just posted and someone said that in 84, that axle code was a 3.54, i dont really think its 5.13...... anyone got their two cents on this situation?
you probably have 3.54 rears, f250s of that era came with either 3.54s or 4.10s, so 3.54 sounds right. For my man 94 ssei you probably have a dana 60 full or semi float rear. Either or, its strong. You won't have an 8.8 in a 3/4 ton truck
