how do you get the front axel passenger side out please help. i have a 1989f150

Never had to do it but there is a C clip holding it inside the diff housing.

If it is like a 97 F250, you have to drop the 3rd member and pull out a "C" clip

You can drop the 3rd member and pull the "c" clip out. OR you can cut the little metal ring holding the boot over the spline slip joint and pull the outer half out. This will leave the inner U joint on. Be sure to line up the shafts when installing.
