2000 Ford Explorer Sport just gave me another headache. I ask UHaul to setup the electricals for the trailer, and they say that can't touch it. Something about if they connect one wire wrong it will cause over $5,000 in damage. What the heck is this? Anybody hear of this before?
If you look farther down, you will find a thread about U-Haul and Ford Explorers. They are refusing any service and trailer rental to owners of Explorers, stating we own 'unsafe' vehicles. I won't start the thread over here, but you can go to Wal-Mart and buy the trailer wiring harness that plugs into the factory wiring. There is not cutting of wires with it...
