I was just wondering would it be possible to put a V10 into a 97 Exp ?
Why? "Just bacause"?
I have had 2 V10 trucks, and IMHO the Expedition is just not built to handle them. Not only that, it sure looks like it would be a *tight* fit in the engine bay.
Of course it is *possible*, but I guess it is *possible* I could cram a whole roll of quarters up my butt - doesn't mean I should do it though

I wouldn't recommend that.
If you have the time and the money, I'm sure a V10 would fit. Customization and individuality is what sets vehicles apart. No one has done this, so it would be interesting to see. I hadn't seen the Navi engine swap til someone else did it.
Thanks for your replies guys, I guess I should have just said it as a general question for the Exp instead of a certain year. I just thought it would be interesting to have a v10 in the Exp as and option from the deal who knows maybe they will do a little redesign in the future. (or maybe Im just wishful thinking)
I just think the Excurstion is to big and for the numbers they sell in the Exp they propably wouldnt have to hard of a time to sell a super duty Exp cant you just see it, Exp 250 mmmmmmmmmm
Could you imagine trying to change the plugs in a v10 in the Expy!? You think its a PITA now I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the rear plugs considering we would be adding a cylinders depth to the motor! Might as well just shoot me if I had to do that plug change
