I discovered the bolt on the axle end of the rear track bar was loose today. At first we thought it was the bushing, because there was play in the joint, but when we pulled the track bar, the bushing looked okay. We reinstalled and it seems to be fine, with no play. Evidently the bolt worked itself loose.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Also, the original track bar has a serrated mount face, whereas the Ford replacement bar is smooth. Why did they change? Is this a design flaw? Could the serrated face contribute to the bolt loosening?
