Ride height for Ranger XLT

Hey everyone... I'm new here so not quite sure how this works yet. Here goes... I have a 99 Ranger XLT ext. cab 2wd. I have noticed that mine doesn't look like it rides as high as other xlt's and was wondering why. I know it has never been lowered or anything. I want to get the suspension adjusted so it sits higher, but I am not sure whether I should use a suspension lift, or if anything else can be done besides a body lift. Also, I have the 15 in wheels, and I was wondering if anyone knew what the biggest tire I could fit under the wells would be without rubbing... thanks for the help...

You may be comparing your's to 4wds. They usually site an inch or two higher than the 2wds. Also, the 4wds come with a larger tire.
Max tire size for Rangers vary a little, but I'm pretty sure a 30" tire is as big as you can go stock.

thanks pig pen. this may be what's up. i was looking at Liberator AT tires... I decided not to go big enough to need a lift. I am getting 235/75/15... i figure just a little wider and a tad taller ought to fill the wheel well a little better. take care man...
