Fog Light Switch

Alright does anyone else want their fog lights on w/o having to turn on the headlights? Is there an aftermarket switch or some "jumping" you can do inside to allow this?

I would also like to turn on the fog lights without turning on the headlights.

There is an old post where someone ground down the ramp in the switch to let the fog lites come on w/park lites. I saved the link to the picture so I can do it. http://community.webshots.com/photo/...9678BvsYpKQWJI

Little more to it...have to install a jumper wire for power to the foglight relay. Look in the FAQ forum.

My truck has the automatic headlights. If I leave the switch in the automatic position, and pull it out (turn on fogs). The fog lights will light even if the headlights are off.

Has anyone added the Ford fog lights to a truck that didn't come with them. I'm wondering if I get the switch and the lights, do I have to get the wiring harness too or is that already in there.
I got an 04xlt and they are now optional on the xlt's.
