insinuate directly = military intelligence

I see your point, but I think a person gets slapped with the brush regardless.
If you say so, but it's a soft brush.

Replace fool for any word - stupid, for example, or how about genius?
You can't make that comparison. You change the whole argument. "fool's plan" is a particular saying. You can't dissect it without changing the meaning of THAT phrase.
To vote Libertarian is the height of stupidity. Same type of phrase right? Does that make all Libertarians stupid, or is only the act of voting Libertarian stupid? If you act stupidly, does that not make you stupid? To me it does. AT LEAST ON THAT TOPIC, IN THAT SITUATION.
Not wanting to get into a deep, Clintonesque, philosophical discussion on the meaning of "is", stupidity is the state of being stupid. That IS calling someone stupid, IMO. But, saying it's a "fool's plan" is an indictment of the plan and not the author of the plan.
Off the topic (but on) I saw a documentary the other day on stupidity. Interesting. Can you define stupidity? What is stupid? It's pretty hard to define those things without inserting a specific context or scenario. It came down to it being a function of a person's actions.

Stupid is the inability to act intelligently. Foolish is lacking in judgement, common sense. It doesn't speak about one's intelligence. Maybe that's a subtle difference to some, so I'll quit while I'm a fool and before I get stupid.
fool's plan -> apostrophe s, ie possessive. Therefore the plan belonging to a fool or a plan only a fool would devise/act on.
But I agree, this is getting foolish.

She also lost all creditability when she said her husband could never do such a thing when accused of misconduct before the election, and said she knew he had a sexual addiction but thought it was under control after DNA proved Monica's dress was stained by Bill.
I wonder why a woman can't be powerful w/o using a person like that as a launching ramp.
Don't you believe that she (and the Democrats) have all the female vote. I believe the Democratic strength is Minorities, new green card holders, idealistic youngsters and billionaire socialites like Sen. Kerry and Sen. Kennedy and people that know they have no chance in the Republican party. I guess we were all Democrats before we sat down and though it out thoroughly.

I think Hilary will stay in New York to finish her term as Senator to get some politicl legs under herself. After her term is up I believe she will attack with vengance. She's pretty quiet at the moment, but that won't last. She's going to jump all over the republicans, and they know it's coming. They won't be able to counter attack too strongly because it will have the appearance of woman bashing. She has a few people squirming in their seats allready. We need someone to stir up the rank and file. She's pretty fiesty when cornered or put on the defensive. You Know the old saying,"Hell has no fury like a womans scorn".The republicn party is going to draw some scorn allright.I look for her to make her move on the White House when her term is up in New York. She's fiesty,I like that.
Let's face it, Hillary is damaged goods. She's had many personal skeletons in her closet that she'd be crucified in a national campaign.
1. The American public isn't ready for a Liberal female President.
2. The nation doesn't like Hillary; NYC voters do.
3. Women voters are split on their opinion of Hillary and most men are united against her.

Let's not forget that women put Bill Clinton into office and in the general wage earner population women are traditionally more concerned with and involved in personal finances than men. We Republicans have shown zero concern for anyone on a personal level over the past three years while piling up a mountain of debt that threatens to suffocate us.
Women are less prone to accepting political rhetoric regarding military expenditures, are generally immune to the the ego factor in aggressive foreign policy and constitute the major consumer decision making buying power in the US.
If Cheney wasn't such an egotistical, heavy-handed, vicious player in the Republican party, I'd think the central party would jump at Rice in a heatbeat for VP. Combine the 10% black vote with a female majority and, bingo.
Anyone who underestimates the voting power of the American woman is wearing those well-known rose colored glasses.
There is no way Bush has won this election yet.The ecomomy is going to be his downfall, just like his father.everyone knew Clinton had a lot of skeletons in his closet, but he still was re-elected.Bushs problem is he doesn't have the necessary the necessary skeletial parts to make the tough choices that need to be made in order to get this country back on track. He won by a VERY small margin in the last election, and he has a small lead in popularity today. He was the lesser of the two evils in2000,thats how he came to be in the first place.Hiliary showed that when the chips are stacked against her,she won't back down and she won't change her mind because of others opinions. When Bush is cornered,he tends to have the deer in the headlight look.He stammers alot when asked tough questions, espically when those questions are unrehearsed.IMO.
And you're right, Hillary doesn't change her mind. What she does, instead, is plead temporary amnesia. "I really don't recall" and "I have no recollection of that" were Hillary's battlecries for te 8 years of the Clinon Administration. It wasn't until after she got an $8Million book deal that her memory improved. IT'S A MIRACLE!!!
