The rear springs are bad on my 66. I have looked through the dennis carpenter and LMC mags for these springs. LMC is kind of pricey and I cant find them through dennis.
Is there other places that sell them for a lower price or is there another alternitive for the rear springs????
I was going for quality. There is not going to be a lot of options for "inexpensive" springs other than from a junker. So if you are going to pay top dollar you may as well get the best. my 2 cents.
But if you really want cheep, I would try the local auto parts store. They are there to keep people's vehicles on the road not to provide preformance or looks so their prices will probably be the lowest price.
Can't hurt to look in the Yellow Pages and make some phone calls. I found a spring shop about 40 from home down in San Bernadino that I believe can do just about anything with a leaf spring. I was looking into re-arching a good set for something else and that was no problem. They were real reasonable too. $35 a side?
FWIW I had mine rearched and it did not last at all. It set up at proper height for about a year and then they were sagging again!! Maybe you would have better luck, but that is what I experienced.
