Cool Neat solution to Block Heater Plug

The only drawback to that spot is if you have a plow like me that plastic sheath is removed for the brackets to be installed.

When I lived in Fairbanks - often -20 to -40 below we would just run an extension cord through the tow hooks in the front of the truck. That way you had a cord to plug in where-ever you went. Off course most business had plug-ins available for your vehicles including the hospital and airport. Sure was convient and a lot cheaper then some special mod.
