Manuel hubs
I'm seriously thinking of finally changing to manuel hubs, alot of snow here and i would like to take advantage of 4x4, i know where to buy them, i'm just wondering, how exactly do you turn them off and on, are they on all the time? anyone got any good pics of what they look like close up, i would appreciate it.

They look like the black one on the right w/five holes drilled in it for the lugs. You simply rotate the **** in the middle to engage/disengage. I don't know what year your rig is so they may not work.

Mines a 92 xlt, i looked on the warn website and part Number 29071 is for the set, and i also need the conversion set, the part number is 27779, is that for both or just one, i would think its for the set?

Manual hubs are only on when you get out and lock them in (rotate the center of the hub) in bad weather you can drive with them locked in so all you have to do is kick it into 4 wheel when you need it but this can also shorten the life of your hubs
