Well I feel I got the greatest deal. I went to the same dealership that I did to purchace my previous vehicle (Pearson Ford, San Diego), which was a 2001 F150 Lariet 4X4 fully loaded for $27,133 which was $1500.00 below invoice w/ A plan. Two weeks ago, I traded it in on my new F-250. I got $22,000 on trade-in, which was just $2000.00 below private party value. I got a F-250 Lariet Crew Cab, SRW, SWB, 6.0 PSD, Auto, Dealer installed 4" Pro-Comp Lift, 315/70/17 BFG'S, 17X12 Weld aluminum rims, Chrome diff covers, Banks exhaust, 5yr 75,000 mile warranty, Fully loaded with everything except dual alt, for $38,345 when they were asking $56,987.00. I kinda worked it pretty well, I talked them down on the price of the lift and tires, then used the A-plan card. These guys were great!!! The salesman did a great job even though he only recieved $100.00 for the deal because of the A-plan. This is definetly my dealership for life.
I too went to Valenti Ford in Mystic and they told me that I could go anywhere I wanted to and I would get the same bottom line price as they tried to feed me. Not True! I went to Jack Madden Ford in Norwood,Mass and they had around 1500 trucks in stock there.
Fm Drtry
purchace my previous vehicle (Pearson Ford, San Diego)........This is definitely my dealership for life.
And now I've learned where I can go, as I'm in Southern California.
Thank you..........I see that the, as my percetpion reveals, "fear factor" of mentioning dealership names is weakening.
Just a Thought..............on..............My Perception...........
