Just go to a Autozone, Murrays, etc. Say you have a 95 Mustang 5.0 GT and you need an alternator. Do not tell them you have a Bronco. They will tell you it does not fit. Some places might accept your 60A core, some might not. Expect to pay around $100ish. My gauge never reads below the A on normal and that's with everything on (lights, heater on full, stereo going with subs).

i was reading in another post about the wires you will need to change around what will i all need to redo to get it switched

Do a search for the 3G swap, I and others have posted very specific wire diagrams discriptions on how to change the wires.

ok thank you how much do the 3g 160amp alts cost i went to auto zone and they said they don't have anything over 65 amp alternators is that true then where else would i find them
