'90 bronco A/C compressor does not engage

hi there.
I have a '90 bronco, and I'm trying to find the relays, wot relay, fusible links etc to see what the compressor is not getting 12v.

the relays under the fuse block in the engine compartment have different colours. does anyone know what they all mean ?

the manuals I have, do not show the locations of the electrical stuff for the A/C, very annoying.

can anyone help ?

thanks, Diane

The relay is under the power distribution box (PDB), fuse panel under the hood. I don't recall the color but I know its not the brown or green one.

You do not have fusable links, you have fuses, they are in the PDB.

Have you checked for power at the pressure switch?

You may have lost all of your coolant (can we still say "Freon"?). The seals at the condenser line connections are prone to leaking in the older Fords. Look at the connections and see if you find any compressor oil, or other evidence of leaking.
