Question Chip reburn questions

I have the 2 Stage Diablo chip, and have a couple small mods. I need to know which of the following need a reburn. Just answer yes or no please.

1. High flow cats
2. Cam gears (not to be mistaken with rear diff. gears)
3. Roller Rockers
4. Electric Fans
5. Headers
6. 180 Thermostat
7. Aftermarket MAF sensor

Thanks for any help given!

Re: Chip reburn questions

I see headaches in your future.

Hi flow cats have the potential to through a check engine light when the system is rich. Dramatic cam timing changes may require custom coding and you're almost certainly going to fail emissions with non-stock timing. Generally, if you want cam changes that will stay emissions legal your best bet is to go with a cam that doesn't change lobe centerline and overlap much over stock, but does change life. Street legal roller rockers for computer controlled vehicles will accomplish this.

Fans don't require customer programming. Long tube headers don't. 180 degree thermostats are just fuel guzzling gimmicks with no major benefits. MAF sensors, if calibrated for stock, don't require it, but few come with an individual calibration sheet so its recommends we program for them.
