hey does anyone remember the old Ramchargers stores that were around the Detroit are back in the 80's?? i'll tell ya ever since they closed i have been trying to find a certain header muffler that they once carried. they were similiar to the present day ( purple hornies ) jeep header muffler, i don't remember the name of them all they were ever referred to as a jeep big tube mufflers and they were black in color and about the same length and the purple hornies... does anyone have an old pair or maybe a new pair packed away somewhere, these also were a straight threw muffler with no baffles. these things were the sweetest sounding mufflers i have ever had, especially bolted right to the headers.. maybe someone knows someone who just might be sitting on a pair. let me know. i never knew who was the original manufacturer either, i guess it is just my loss. hey Chargerkid, well i thought they were all out of buisness, i use to go to the one that was on Eureka Road ( i hope i spelled it right it has been a long time since i lived around there ) and Pennsylvania road right around that area. the intersection right by it had railroad tracks running through it. but anyway i never saw those stores again and that was probably late 1980's. well it's nice to see they still exist. do you have a phone number for the store that you shopped at in Dteroit?? would appreciate that very much... have a great day and thanks.
