Microstation Users

How many of you use microstation? I want to learn the basics (I know a little AutoCADD) and can't find any good references. Seems like I need to buy the program just to get ahold of a manual. Can anyone here recommend a good reference?

Thanks,

Longneck

Everyday. I have the manuals though since I work for the State.
Gimme a chance to look and I'll see if I can get a good recommendation for an "off the self" book.

I have used Version "J" for about 2 years or more now. Used "SE" before that. I am not sure about any books other than user manuals, but I am always willing to answer any questions. You can email me and I will be glad to answer whatever you need. I have more usefull notes that the books won't have.

couleeman,

The State never gets the "new" version until it's about obsolete.
I too was on SE until this past summer.

Thanks guys,
I found a guy that has J version 7.1 (I think) on his computer and he is going to let me mess around with it for a while. If I have any question atleast I know where to go.

The company I work for is pretty good about keeping software updated. We do a fair bit of work for the USCOE and MNDOT so we have to make sure that we are running at least the same software they are if not better.

It is nice as I have gotten to learn several different Cadd softwares and design softwares.
