Question '71 side view mirror REPLACEMENT

What would be a good replacement for a '71 f100 side view mirrors?
I like these: http://www.studiocoburg.com/truck/peepers.jpg

But I also like the small "square" mirrors like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

Would it look odd if I use mirrors from a 60's Fairlane?

Thanks,
F-100, 300-6, sport

Round mirrors from 60`s Fairlane would be cool, close to what was used (after market) in the late 60`s early 70`s.

Autokrafters is a big car resto name. Try them for mirrors.

I have the pair of square factory mirrors of my '67. Not perfect, but usable. Cheap. I don't have the mounting hardware anymore....I donated it all to a member here on FTE

Ratsmoker..... MAN that's a nice ride!

Where did you get the mirrors? How big are they... 4"?
Are they practical that size?

Nice truck!

Are your mirrors big enough to see clearly?

I have a set of small billet mirrors on my truck, mainly for the looks. They do function correctly, but it took a little while to get used to the size. I rely on my rear view mirror (out of a 53` F1) and so far I have been ok.

My mirrors are all original but they serve absolutley no function that I can tell. (LOL) Passenger side is especially useless and you could probably see out of the drivers side if you didnt have the spare tire there like I have.

Thanks, I got the mirrors from a custom shop in OKC. I don't know what brand they re but they still look nice. I would say about 4" is what they measure.
