NP435 tranny oops!
I removed my NP435 tranny to re-do some gaskets and seals. Which in itself was a pain in the *** but now that I have it back in I realized that when I removed the shifter to drop the tranny I left it in gear. Now that it's been re-installed I can't get the shifter to engage any gears. Any suggestions on how to get it out of gear without the shifter in the tranny? Or how to get the shifter back into the gear that the tranny is in?

Sure you can. Look down the hole with a flashlight and figure out which of the forks need to be brought back to center. A big screwdriver will do the job, but you should be able to get the shifter into that fork and assemble it in gear too.
