how much can a 390 be bored?

I ujust made the correction. Sorry. The correct stroke length for the 390 crank is 3.784 though.

No problem. My book shows the 390 stroke to be 3.780". Oh well, close enough for gov't work.

Ratsmoker, could you explain you calculation for me? The listing I have for the long rod is 6.54, or am I missing something?

Maybe helpful

so I don't know if you know this or not but there is an engine that was the 352ci, no it is not a Windsor or a Cleveland but that it the same engine block that was used to make the 360ci,390ci,427ci,428ci and that is why everything fits for all of them engine blocks basically

Pretty sure we're aware of a 352 and most were 17 years ago when this thread died.
