390 to 427??

I have 390 with aluminum heads and aluminum intake. I was wondering if I found a 427 or 428, would my after market acessories work with these bigger blocks. Thanks

Yep..All that stuff is FE stuff and will work with just about an FE motor. The blocks are the same configuration. It's just the rotating assemblies that change. Well, that and the bore size.

There are some unique 427 pieces. But, if you plan to use your intake and heads, that should not be an issue.

You're only issue, will be finding or paying for a 427. The 428 is a little easier to come by. Both, are more expensive than the 360/390 blocks.
Another option is to stroke your 390 block. Using a 428 crank or aftermarket crank..
