trans gauge not reading

They shouldn't be when mine first starts the needle jumps up and then falls back. I don't thank it should do that but it does. It's not as bad now as it was when I first installed them . If your truck is like mine when you take and hook up the lights turn your headlights all the way pull out on the switch it will come out a little and there is a hole (abt 7:00 i thank) that releses the **** I used a very small screwdriver after you remove the **** turn the lights off and put the **** back on pointed at the floor (I guess i could have said rotated 180 degrees) then turn the light switch clockwise again you should be able to pull the switch out if you can get your hand behind it and push it could help. And it you got a piller mount use tape to hold the wires insteed of wire ties this is hindsight talking Good luck
