Hello all. I have a 390 I am trying to add some more umphh to and I think the carberator I have on it has some issues. I just had a rebuild done about 7 months ago and the carberator I used was a rebuilt edelbrock 600. Well, every since I have had the engine rebuilt, the carberator has spit, chugged or something (reasoning varies).
Well, I was looking in the Demon carberators. Give me you guys' impressions of the Demon as opposed to Holley and Edelbrock? thanks, Doc.

The demons are holleys with some improvements. I have heard of nobody that has said anything negative about them. They are kinda pricey but so was my street avenger. Have you tried rebuilding the carb with a Trick Kit Doc? You may have just as good of performace with your existing carb. A compression test may also be in order. You may have some valves leaking casusing the problems. I would just hate to see you throw a $400 carb on and have nothing change except your wallet thickness.
