Spark plug gap recommendations?
I've got the motor assembled on the stand (sans rocker assemblies) and don't remember how I used to gap the plugs (it's been since about 1999). I'm using a Mallory Unilite electronic dizzy and the large yellow Accel coil. I'm going to be using standard Motorcraft plugs unless there are other suggestions to be considering.
Additionally, I seem to remember having the vacuum advance attached to the full-time port on the carb rather than the ported vacuum. Does memory serve me correctly?

I like to run @.050-.055 on a really hot set up...but you might want to play it safe and keep it around .045 with yours. You can use either of the vacuum ports, it just effects how you time it. Most people use ported though, although its very possible you were using full.
