I have a 1995 F150, with an Awia cd player and stock speakers, it was installed prior to me purchsing it, and everytime I hit a bump a speaker stops working til I hit another bump, how do I fix this?
The easiest solution would be to avoid all the bumps
Just kidding, there is probably a loose connection somewhere. Do all the speakers give out at the same time? If so I would check the conections at the back of the radio. If only a certain speaker is giving out, I would check the connection at that speaker. If you do find the loose connection, replace it with a tight fitting terminal or better yet solder it. Hope you find your problem!
Pinpoint which speaker it is, look up the color code here then see if there is a loose connection first in the speaker, then you might pull your radio and check the connection there.
All the speakers are connected correctly and firmly, I will have to jerk the head and check it in the dash, if that's not it I will be back to look for more ideas.
