aftermarket seats

I have a 78 f150 with a bench seat and i want to put in a set of bucket seats. I've seen a number of seats and I like the seats in the 01 explorer. I dont want anything with a head rest just a high back. I want to find a pair of them but the only seats ive found have had snow all over them. Ive also been looking at street race seats. Ive found that alot of the seats are more of a car seat because they lift your legs more, so has anyone had luck with a certain race seat in a truck.

They are usually too short in the lap cushion area, back of the seat to the front of the seat, at only 18 inches. An Aerostar bucket seat with the halo type head rest is 20 inches and feels much better to sit in.
