The KB tech at the customer service number told me. He said its no longer being made. For them to consider start back, they would need a demand for it. Like a large quantity order.
Their site has been down for over 6 months. The first KB tech guy I contacted said the 3434H wasn't one of their pistons. I have to ask every tech question twice. I asked about a dished version of the 3434H but KB doesn't make custom pistons, not 8 at a time anyway. Minimum order is 300 sets, probably the same goes for a .975" pin Cleveland version.
I don't know how many were originally made but as far as I know, VPW is the only company who sells them. If they want to re-order, they'll have to buy 300 sets.
ACL is worth concidering, they make a lot of pistons.
The original application is an Aussie 302C using a 351C crank. The longer 302C rods require a shorter piston.
