GEM - Fuse Box?

GEM - Fuse Box?
Posted problem with heater- a/c, 4x4 light flashing, airbag flashes 4 then 1, some of the guys thought it was the GEM, had a water leak at window, does GEM control all those functions? Maybe water in fuse box? The thing is I cant figure out how to get the fuse box out or get at the GEM. 98 F250 4x4 5.4L triton. Thanx all

Between the GEM and the fuse box they can cause all your problems. The GEM comes out with the fusebox. It is pretty tight.
You have to remove the electrical connectors off the GEM and fuse box and then the 2 screws and 2 nuts that hold them to the dash. Then you pull them out. Like I said though they're a tight fit and dont come out real easy. Make sure you get the windshield resealed before you replace anything though or you'll have to do it all over again.
