Help me pick out a muffler
Ive got a 1989 Ford Ranger. 4cyl. I want it to sound good, deep tone. NO stright pipe. I wanna go with duals. The shop I went to today quoted me 125$. But thats right after the muffler. I need a new muffler before I go back the next time to get the work done. They sell Magna flow mufflers. Are those good?? Also I want to gain power. The shop told me to pick the muffler I wanted and then they will weld it all together. I dont want to lose bottem end power.

You cant have true dulas on a 4 banger unless you get headers, but whats the point. They dont have enough gases escaping to worry about it. You COULD put cat back duals, but that wont healp anything except looks. If you want the dual look get dual tips and save money. As for th muffler there are several im looking at in the Summit racing catalog. I think you can get it for free. I need help picking out a muffler too, but for a 4.0 6 cyl.
