engine blanket?

Anyone out there using an engine blanket. I guess some guys around here swear by them but i don't seem to see many. Does anyone know if there are any advantages to them?

I have heard of people using small electric blankets on their batteries (on airplanes especially). Never heard of an engine blanket. Would think you'd want something under the engine since heat rises?

Do you mean something along the lines of a Winter front? (a Vinyl/Canvas Covering for the Grillle)

If So, my Friend installed one on the 95 f250 PSD that he just puchased. He says that it hasnt made much of a difference. I think that that could be because it does not fill in the slots in the Bumper.

It's made by deflecta sheild Link

We are going to see if Lund makes some plastic snap-pieces for the bumper.

Hope this Helps

T. J.
