Hood blanket installation - sound reduction results
I installed the 3C3Z-16738-BD hood blanket in my '06 F350 with the 6.0L PSD. I checked the sound levels with a Radio Shack sound level meter with a cold engine, ambient temperature was 72 degrees. The hood blanket reduced the sound by 4 decibels, which is a noticeable improvement!
