Hey guys, I got another one for ya. I bought my Bronco back in August and checked all the fluids and everything was full, the right color, and smelled okay. Well since it went down to like 5 degrees here in Jersey last night I have a problem. I got home from work and noticed something leaking under my truck, it is not my daily driver and I didn't drive it today, so I poped the hood and saw antifreeze leaking. I opend the radiator and noticed that I have green slush(not good). Why did this happen, was the water to antifreeze mix wrong? I didn't fill the raditator I assumed(probably my first mistake) that since it was green it was fine, should I start wrorrying about a cracked block now?
I am not sure where exactly the leak is yet, as it is still frozen. But on the driver side around the tubes for the tranny the radiator is wet and at the bottom of the radiator on that side there is an antifreeze icicle. On the pass side the radiator is wet and the frame rail is wet too. I am pretty sure that when it thaws out I will see the leak, but it just worries me that there might me more damage than what I can see. I am a pretty capable home mechanic. I have a garage(although the truck will not fit in) and a roll away snaop-on tool box and lots of snap-on tools. They were my dad's, he was a mechanic. I can fix any problem with the truck myself, once I know what it is.
