302 efi ignition timing
hi all I have a question when setting the ignition timing on the 92 302 efi what steps are taken we know on the on the old distrubitor you pull off a vaccuum line but we don't know the steps of this efi 302 timing we know its 10 degrees btc Thanks for any advice Jason Froehlich

There is a little 2 pin connector coming out of the wiring going to the ign module which is mounted on the dist. Unplug this and this takes the computer advance out of the picture. You then just set timing at 10 btdc. Stop engine, plug connector back in and the computer will take over advance once again.
