Just thought I'd mention its too late to be asking, you already installed them. But you can tell us all how they work out. I want new hubs. Try em out. I'd like to know if their better than WARNs. Get dirty, its all about trying to break stuff anyway.
Yes, it is a little late. I was just curious if anyone else has used them. The Superwinches set me back about $65. The Warns are around $90. The Superwinches are made of better materials than the Warns, but the Superwinches are more likely to be damaged if not turned in completely. This is no big deal if you make sure to turn them in all the way. The Superwinches operate much like Ford hubs.
The factory manual hubs from 1980 or so up until Ford went to the three bolt manual hubs are Warn Standards with a red dial... I'm not sure who made the three bolt units, as I've never had a set apart.
Mine broke...make sure you have the tabs installed correctly. It has 6 screws on the cap which means it can go on 6 different ways..but only 1 way is the right one. I broke the tabs off mine because the previous owner put it on wrong. I replaced them with warn premiums.
