lift kits
i have just recently bought a 1990 f150 4x4 that has 32x12.5" tires on it right know. a buddy of mine a set of 33x12.5" bfg that he will sell me at good price to be able to put these tires on my rig i think i will have to put atleast a 2" lift on. local 4x4 dealear said he could put one on for 500 labor and all. is this a good deal, how hard is this to do yourself? i am also having a little trouble find just a 2" lift on the web if any body knows where to get some good deal or has any advice i would apperciate it thanks.

if you only want to go 2" i would recommend a body lift or if the truck doesnt sit level check out a 2" coil spacer (i think thats what they call them) for the front end. you could pick them up @ www.jcwhitney.com

Suspension lift for the truck is good at 2 1/2". Thats as far as I've seen for the IFS brackets. Take the extra susprension travel. Will work better for you off road than a body lift.
