You need an awful big carb and high flowing heads to feed 550 cubes, I would bet that there has been some serious custom work done on those heads and they are probably worth some money.
I am here to disagree. A .060 over 460 is 473 CID. You can go 4.625, safely, with a motorsport iron block. (4.625/2)4.625/2)Pi(3.85)=517 CID. I personally know a guy who runs a stock stroke 460 with a 4.5 inch bore(490 CID). IHRA Pro Stock engines run 6 inch strokes with 4.625 inch bores, to achieve 815 CID. Of course this requires a tall deck aluminum block, hemi heads, long rods, and a serious pocket book. I'll take 3.
BTW, all it takes is a worked over Dominator, and some port work, but can be done with iron heads.
