Dont worry, I wont leave you hanging. I called the shop again today and again I couldnt get a staight answer. The guy who works in the office said they were working on some of the wiring. Thats as much as he knew. He couldnt even tell me what wiring...Its been in that garage for seven day today.
All right. I can't take it any more. Everytime I get an e-mail saying this thread has been updated I think to myself, "Woo Hoo! An answer!" But alas... no answer.
About that dealerships phone number.... ;-) I think its time the FTE membership started calling to put a fire under thier... tanks. Pardon the pun.
I really appreciate everyones concern. As of today I still havent heard anything from the shop. Last heard was two days ago when I called them. I dont want to go another weekend without my truck. I will call them tomorrow and try and find out whats going on. This is taking way too long. Today I waited four hours for stock to show up at a jobsite. I need that truck..
When I do get it back I will have an edge tuner for it. A little welcome home gift.
I finally have my truck back!!!! But the cost of repair wasnt pretty. 700 bucks. 480 of it was labor. They replace the fuel pump, water seperator and heater element. Im just glad to have it back.
Thanks for everyones help.
I know they fixed it... but I hope they didn't just change parts. I find it hard to believe that all three of those things went bad at once. But what do I know?
At least you have your truck back home where it's supposed to be.
