Dome light switch problem
I have a 2001 cc f250 sd 4x4 diesel
I`m having a problem with the dome light staying on one switch must be bad
QUESTIONS
Where are they located and is there an easy way to determine which one

Dome light switch problem
Dome light switches seem to be a big Ford problem. The switch is in the latch, spray it liberally with WD-40 and it will usually straighten up. Start with the driver's door, it gets the most use.

Dome light switch problem
yep,
I just had that problem friday. The "door a jar" light was on the whole way home. I didn't have wd40 so I used some other stuff that does the same thing.
I also came across a car that did the same thing.

The dealer replaced one switch in our Taurus while under warranty. When the second one acted up (both times, drivers door), I just sprayed it well. It has been about 14 months with no problems.
