Squeezin' in a deep cycle...
So I've had a hankerin' to go the dual route and run a normal truck battery and a deep cycle battery on the truck listed in my signature. I would have rigged one up months ago, but with all the hoses and wires on this thing, I can't find a place to put it. Has anyone else rigged up such a thing? If so, where did you put it? And if you haven't, any suggestions?
I want to be able to leave coolers and other doodads running while I'm away from the truck and not be nervous about it.

my uncle relocated his battery on his ranger to the outside of the frame underneath the bed on the passengers side. custom made all of the mounting hardware and wires, worked out great.

Not sure what all kinds of doo-dads you have under the hood, but you should check out a PSD-equipped truck to see how/where Ford installed the 2nd battery. Might be able to move some hoses/canisters and get the OEM mount to work.
