(ABS) LIght
"00" F-150 Ext Cab 4dr, 4X4 (ABS) light came on and stayed on.
I Took it in to dealership, The ground on the (ABS) hydrulic motor modual broke, @ the module, not the ground wire, hence, the ECM can not read the (ABS) system during the start up check.
The modual is $362.00 and change, Can't be replaced with out the computer being hooked up to the ECM then it must be bled with the ECM being powered by the shop computer.
I'm looking @ $500.00 or better
. I Don't have to pay if I don't care about wheel lock-up during braking.
I have also noticed the brakes seem to be dragging a bit since.
