Take An American Stand !!!!!!!!
I just read my Car and Driver and saw where they rated the Nissan Titan 4 Door Truck over the FORD F150 so I cancelled my subscription to the magazine.
How many other suscribe to Car and Driver and are willing to do the same ? How about Motor Trend ? If enough people do this we can have an impact.

why would you cancel your subscription over this.
If the authors feel Nissan has a better product, your beef should be with Ford.
the American way is supposed to mean you build a better product at a better price, and let the market decide who's best, not bullying people into buying an inferior product cause its built here.

If every Car and Driver subscriber did that, all they would have left is BMW owners! I respect C&Ds opinion and they have a sense of humor to boot. If that is what their unbaised opinion is they should print it.

If it's a better truck it's a better truck, in their eyes anyway. Like was said, why not write a letter to Ford to suggest they get it together.
Just the first step down hill if the "American", and I use the tern loosely, made products don't step up and compete with their rivals.

I do not agree with Consumer Reports about some things, that does not mean they are not right though 
I rather have an unbias (even if slightly slanted because their glasses are a different shade) view, then a magazine owned by a OEM that just repeats everything they are told to say.

Ford will take notice of the selection and they will try to beat Nissan. Thats how competition makes our products better.

Did anyone read the article? Their biggest gripe with the F-150 was a lack of power, and that's to be expected from Car & Driver. Their other complaints were trivial, to say the least (they didn't like the reverse-sensing system, for crying out loud). Hey, if their criticisms lead to a better F-150, then I'm all for it.
And did anyone read the article on the Dodge Ram SRT-10? Freakin' hilarious! You can't beat C&D for their sense of humor! Then again, maybe I'm partial 'cause I don't live too far from Brock Yates- his Cannonball Run Pub is great! And don't you hate people that drop names all the time? As I was saying to Robert Redford and Tom Cruise just the other day......

Wow cancelling your subscription to C&D cause the put an American truck first. Hate to be the one to inform u of this, but the TITAN is strictly made in MISSISSIPPI. Last time i checked that was in the US, next state over from me. Unless there is a mississippi japan. The F150 isnt made all in American any more. Yeah they build the concepts in detroit, whooopty friggin do. They build them in mexico and everywhere else. So if u want to stick to your words and buy ALL AMERICAN, then youll buy the Titan, u know the ppl that are hiring americans, and actually giving americans jobs instead of taking them away and giving it to mexicans that will work for a dollar an hour.
