Does the 2000 Eddie Bauer 4WD still feature air ride ?

Look under the rear of the vehicle, and see if there are 2 air bags mounted to the frame.

AS my 97 has the air ride and I've never had to deal with a large truck without, am I going to miss much ?

Drive and see. The perception of ride quality is a fairly subjective matter. My 1999 has the standard suspension, and while it's not a magic carpet ride, I've never been to a chiropractor.

I always thought of it (LLS) more for leveling purposes rather than ride quality, although I could be wrong.......wouldn't be the first time.

Thats what I always thought too, helps to keep the truck level when loaded improperly.
