finally!
Well, I finally bought a new truck...well, not new by anyone's standards, but I really like the looks of the pre'87 trucks. My new toy is an '86 F150 4X4 with a NP205 t-case, four speed stick and of course the 300 six with 120000 on the clock. She's only got 3.08 gears, but I need reasonable gas mileage as well as pulling power. I'll do a few upgrades bit by bit, probably starting with a locker. Hope you all had a great holiday

finally!
The "captain" is nautical. I've been a boat nut all my life and am slowly working on my 200 ton master's. I have always had "capt'n" as my nickname and soon it will be official! Enough of my rambling...since I am interested in lockers as my first upgrade...i was wondering if anyone has had any luck with powertrax. Also...would you recommend them front, rear or both? I have heard they are brutal on universal joints...but that's only with the hubs locked in right? I was thinking about a true locker up front and powertrax's no-slip system for the rear...any comments? Thanks
