rag joint

I was driving my 78 f-100 tonite, and the rag joint broke, lost steering, and went in the ditch. I hit it doing about 35. The peice which connects the steering shaft coming down from the steering shaft, and connects to the steering box, broke . My question is, will the rag joint off of my 78 f250 4x2 work on my 78 f100 4x4? I was able to get out of the ditch, 4lo and granny low pulled me right out, and the 38's under it . Luckly i was on a gravel road.

Thumbs up

Should work...they were pretty much universal back then...or go the auto parts and go to the help section...should be able to get one for under 10 bucks...probably less....haven't bought one since I had my 78 F-250....takes about 10 minutes to change...
